10+ years
I spent the first part of my career exploring an array of climate-related fields, diving most deeply into the clean energy sector. In my personal and volunteer life, I focused on the upstream issues of climate change and became involved with community organizing.

Ok maybe not millions, but it might be close! “Grant Writer” is a bit more new, but when you’ve been drinking from a firehose all your career, you get good at learning quickly and hitting the ground running. 90% of the skills I’ve gained have been transferable and have positioned me as a successful grant strategist and writer.

Doom & Bloom Project
In college, I took a class called “Global Environmental Change” AKA the “Doom & Gloom” class. where each week we learned something horrific. At the time, I didn’t know how to transform my overwhelming sense of doom away from gloom. Now I help organizations compost their gloom so they can bloom.
